Smarti Gras 2004

January 30th - February 1st, 2004

Beat the dreary winter gloom by spending a weekend in sunny Central Florida! Make plans now to attend Central Florida Mensa's "Smarti Gras 2004" RG, taking place on the last weekend of January, 2004. All your favorite events from Smarti Gras' past will be making return appearances, plus a few new things are being planned.

Events being planned at press time include:

• Bob and Val's Armchair Treasure Hunt

• "Show Us Your Wits"

• "Un-Auction" to benefit the CFM Scholarship

• Tournaments - Scrabble, Cribbage, Farkle and Rock/Paper/Scissors

• Game Events - Fictionary, Hand & Foot, Double-Elimination Hearts

• A "Wall O' Games" in the 24-hour games room

• "Endeavour" - A new "Fear Factor / Survivor" - oriented game with amusing and fun challenges but no voting off the island and no icky stuff

• Random, wandering hugging judges

• Mardi Gras/Cajun food in hospitality all weekend, including an authentic King Cake

Registration (includes Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch):

$60 from 5/27/03 through 10/31/03
$70 from 11/1/03 through 1/29/04
$75 at the door

We are also offering a single-day rate of $25 for all day Saturday.
Children under 10, accompanied by a paying adult, pay only $35 for the whole weekend.
